The Israeli/Palestinian Conflict: The Archangels Offer Insight

Written by author and channel, Jodie Helm. (Ignore the “by Pete” line above. All I do is post Jodie’s articles to save her the trouble. – Pete)

I’m finding it difficult to wish you all a great weekend and Happy Friday today, because so many are suffering in the Middle East. I’m sure your hearts are as heavy as mine. I asked the Archangels to address this latest outbreak of war, and their answer follows.

Question: Can you please address the latest conflict in the Middle East? A lot of people are very upset about it all over the world.

Answer:

Your question is more hopeful than you realized when you wrote it. People all over the world are upset, not just those who are personally involved in some way. What we wish to say is, it should not be treated as a conflict in which everyone chooses a side. We know it would be much simpler if it was, but there are no good guys on one end and bad guys on the other. What there are, are a few power hungry, glory seeking people on both sides who care little about the masses who are caught in the middle.

Those who have been killed and captured on both sides are not responsible for this violence. They are simply victims who have been sacrificed by people who do not care about civilian casualties. They do not fight for them. They do not care that innocent children and families are suffering. They are not concerned about whether or not the people will escape from the violence. They know that most will not. There is no safe place for them to go. They know this.

The more who choose sides and get involved, the more people will die, many of them civilians. Nothing good will come of it. The hatred and violence on both sides will lead to more pain for the helpless victims caught in the crossfire, who did not ask for this war and who do not want it.

One side starts it, and the other answers in kind. Both sides have taken turns initiating the conflict. Neither side is innocent, and both sides are guilty. There is no right or wrong side. Both sides are wrong. It has been this way for a long time.

We will say, however, that outsiders’ opinions are changing. Many, instead of choosing sides as they have in the past, are viewing this ongoing conflict as stupid and senseless. Instead of seeing a good side and a bad side, heroes and villains, they see victims on both sides. They are saddened greatly for what all the people are going through, and they rightfully blame the few people behind the violence and those who support it on both sides, rather than choosing one side over the other.

People are changing, but governments are much slower to change, because they benefit from war in a variety of ways. The masses are beginning to realize that there are no winners in these conflicts, only losers.

There will come a time when there will be peace on Earth, because the masses are becoming bolder in their refusal to accept that war and violence are answers to any problems. Wars will eventually end, because the people will no longer support or tolerate them. The sooner people make their views known and actively demand a stop to war, the sooner peace will come.

In the past, people accepted these kinds of government interventions. Politicians spewed their vitriol, spread their lies and propaganda, and the people went along with it, whether they agreed or not. They allowed themselves to be manipulated, and they did not get involved. This is changing. That is why, when people ask for guidance and a timeline of when this violence and these conflicts will end, our answer is that it will depend on how long the masses around the world stand back without getting involved, rather than actively advocating for peace.

We see this happening. Instead of people choosing one side over another, the only side they support is peace and safety for the people involved. For those who have not reached that change in attitude, we would emphasize that both sides have suffered tragic losses. It would be bad enough if the casualties were confined to soldiers, but that is never the case. Even if only soldiers were killed, each comes from a family. Each has people who will be affected by their loss. All will suffer.

However, it is not only soldiers who are sacrificed. It is civilians. The elderly who are not strong enough to leave or fight. The parents who are desperate to protect their children, who are innocent and helpless to stop the violence around them. The many people who do not wish to fight but find themselves in a dangerous situation not of their making. Do you think the many civilian deaths are limited to one side only? They are not. There are the elderly, the children, and the victims on both sides and they are all important. They are all worthy and deserving of a peaceful life. They are being killed through no fault of their own, and if given a choice of life or death, they would all choose life. Sadly, they often are denied that choice.

So, do not delude yourselves that one side is right and one side is wrong. Do not believe your politicians when they say there is no other choice but to go to war or retaliate. No one deserves to be sacrificed, a casualty of war. Violence has no righteousness, no noble excuses or reasons behind it that justify the actions of war.

Those who are most responsible for any and all wars are almost never among the casualties and loss of life. They hide in the background, continuing to enable one or both sides to continue killing others, who do not want or invite the outcome they receive. Do not excuse war or accept it anymore. Take a stand together and demand a stop to it.

We send all, especially those who have been targeted in the Middle East on both sides, Love and Light.

Final Thoughts

Do you know the song, Russians, by Sting? It’s one of my favorites, not just because it’s well-done, but because of the lyrics.

How can I save my little boy from Oppenheimer’s deadly toy?

There is no monopoly on common sense on either side of the political fence

We share the same biology, regardless of ideology

Believe me when I say to you, I hope the Russians love their children too.

Whether we’re referring to the Cold War, the Ukrainian War, the Civil Wars, the World Wars, or this latest war in the Middle East, those words are true. We have a handful of people orchestrating these violent interactions for their own reasons, and none of them seem particularly concerned about the people who pay the price, whether they’re soldiers or civilians. There is always a better way than war.

I still wish you happy Friday and hope you have a good weekend, and I’m sure a lot of you, like me, will spend some time thinking, praying, and hoping for peace sooner rather than later.

Blessings, all.
