Pete’s Story Room Logo

What do you think of the dragon? I don’t know why I chose to include it as part of  my story room logo but, somehow, it felt right. Maybe it’s because it represents mysticism to me, to say nothing about the beauty, power, and playfulness of this particular dragon. I found it on the Internet after a long search and fell in love with it. There was no mention of who created or owned it so I assumed it was in the public domain. My wife, Sandra, loves it too so I made a logo for her story room as well. Now it’s Sandy’s Story Room instead of various ideas taped to the walls. Are you thinking about starting your own story room? What kind of energy or intent do you want your name or logo to project?

What Inspired me to Create a Story Room?

Three things. First, memory has a habit of fading away or changing over time. Out of sight, out of mind, right? Second, when you take it a step further and literally record your thoughts, dreams, and experiences in notebooks there is the inconvenience of having to find what you want in the moment, hidden away inside a large box of dusty and deteriorating notebooks and loose papers. In my case, my serious notebook-keeping began in the mid 1970s.

Finally, there is my deepest feeling tone, or impulse: Seek the greatest understanding and serve the highest good. This impulse gnawed away at me until I came up with the idea to post my favorite thoughts and questions on the walls of my bedroom. This way, I can look at them on the walls outside me all the time and not have to worry about remembering them or digging around for them in my many notebooks. This train of thought is probably what led to the military’s concept of a “War Room” and business’s idea of developing a “Business Plan” if you want investors.

Let’s face it, we have painted ourselves into a dark corner. If we want to survive, we must paint ourselves out. The forces that make life in material form work are seriously out of balance and we know it. Unless we find a way to work together to bring it back into balance, it may be lights out for us in human form. What’s it going to be? Do we take the bull by the horns and wrestle it to the ground or do we quietly whimper and drag ourselves off stage?

Wake Up, Wise Up, and Rise Up to Greater Awareness and Understanding!

We are so much more powerful than we think! Don’t you want to be your True Self, the self you love to be? We can look at circumstances today and think that we deserve whatever we get because we buy into the idea that what we are is bad or undeserving. Or, we can choose to see ourselves as being good because we’re always doing the best we can with what we know and learning more to do better. It is all a matter of perspective and the value of an idea is in the reality it creates. We can look at this moment as an invitation to fail or evolve. The choice is ours to make both individually and collectively.

If you’re reading this, you’re already here on Real Talk World with access to some the greatest and most stimulating ideas in the world, via Seth and the 9th Dimension Arcturian Council. It may seem hokey to trust the words of invisible beings sharing their thoughts with us telepathically during waking moments, dreams, and self-induced hypnosis but it is what it is.

It is ideas themselves that are important, whatever the source. Every thought is a building block for the creation reality. It is a suggestion, a blueprint for action. In other words, thoughts are “things” with a reality of their own and each of us an artist. With thoughts in the form of beliefs, attitudes, values and expectations we paint the landscape of our lives.

It is time to stop controlling ourselves and others by making value judgments of right and wrong, good and bad, and enforcing them with the shame of guilt and the fear of punishment. It is an old authoritarian system of beliefs we are now in the process of outgrowing. The challenge before us now is to make the jump from value judgment to value fulfillment as smoothly as possible. With our eyes wide open, it will be a piece of cake.

The Old System Versus the New

Value judgment is a system of ideas designed to control us from the outside in, until we no longer need training wheels. Value fulfillment, on the other hand, is a matter of what works best and makes us happiest in our oneness with and separation from All That Is, as both products of creation and creation itself. By accepting full responsibility for the consequences of our thoughts and feelings, our actions and reactions, we get to learn from them so we can do better the next time. When we experience ourselves from the source side of creation, instead of playing the victim who develops the bad habit of pointing the finger of blame at others, we become stronger and happier.

It is exciting to see ourselves for who and what we really are, not what we have been told we are. We must trust ourselves to know the difference between what we like and don’t like, what works for us and what doesn’t, what makes us happy and what doesn’t, in our oneness with and separation from All That Is, as both products of creation and creation itself.

I don’t know about you but, for me, everything has to fit together smoothly. It must make sense and have the potential to answer all of our questions. It must provide us with a foundation to support all of our experiences, not just a few. My primary goal in life is to understand the nature of Being and Creation. To me, it is the ultimate frontier. What is your primary goal? Ask the universe and listen for the answer(s) that makes the most sense to you.

Excerpt from William Shakespeare’s Play: As You Like It.

“All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man (or woman) in his time plays many parts…”

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” ― R. Buckminster Fuller

What others will not or cannot do for us, we must do for ourselves.
