Why I Ask Myself Questions and Read the Seth Books

Is understanding the nature of Being and Creation the ultimate frontier? Do we seek greater awareness and understanding of what we are and what reality is? Do we want to serve a higher good? Do we want to understand what works best and makes us happiest in our oneness with and separation from All That Is, as both products of creation and creation itself?

To find answers to these questions and others like them, we must open our hearts and minds to new ideas. We must understand that we create reality from what we choose to think and feel about ourselves and All That Is. We must trust our inner feelings. We must trust our ability to know the difference between what we like and don’t like, what works for us and what doesn’t, what makes us happy and what doesn’t. We must understand that ideas are the building blocks of being and creation. As we think, feel, act and react, we create. To change what we create, we must change what we think and feel, how we act and react.

From the moment I began reading the Seth books, during the Christmas holidays in 1977, I began experiencing mental orgasms. I couldn’t believe the difference in the amount of meaningful information I found in the Seth books compared to books written by humans. It was the difference between night and day. Seth, to me, represented the brilliant light of day while books written by most humans had so little to offer; they seemed more like the dark of night. Sorry about that but that’s the way I felt.

During the late 1970’s and most of the 80’s, while reading the Seth books, I found myself having extraordinary experiences in both dreams and waking reality. In 1978, I was so moved by what Seth was saying, I started publishing my own newsletter and called it Coordinate Point, subtitled, Where Realities Merge. I also organized a Seth Group in San Francisco so we could experiment with psychic energy together as well as alone.

Because of my newsletter, I joined other Seth groups around the Bay Area to see what they were doing. I was not disappointed. No, I was amazed by the number of people who were interested in experimenting with their psychic or spiritual abilities. It gave me a taste of what’s to come and it’s exciting. Amazingly, the experiences I had back then still have much to teach me.

Why doesn’t the understanding of our inner selves and senses evolve more quickly? I think it’s because we thrive on oppression. by limiting and false loyalty to earthbound institutions, beliefs, and limitations prevent us from seeing the larger story behind this one. It is in this larger, inner realm of thought and feeling that we find and develop new ways to think and feel about ourselves. If we develop our inner senses, we won’t have to send astronauts all the way to the moon to have an epiphany like looking back at the earth and realizing that it looks like a lifeless “big blue marble.” We can do it ourselves through the power of imagination. The results of Remote Viewing have already proven we have the ability to do this. I’m not mocking mankind’s desire to expand it material boundaries. What I am saying is that we can use some balance when it comes to our inner and outer selves.

In reality, we think, feel, act and react; therefore, we ARE. As we think, feel, act and react, we create. To change what we create, we must change what we think and feel, how we act and react.

Seth understands how we create reality and asks us to prove it to ourselves by testing his suggestions out in the laboratory of our own lives. Look at the animals and plants around you. Can you see that they also have the ability to think, feel, act and react, just like you? How else can they interact with and survive in the presence of everything else around them? How can anything exist unless it can know itself from every other form of being? Doesn’t this ability alone suggest that every form of being has the power to think, feel, act and react; that Aware Energy or Consciousness is the Source and Substance of All That Is?

Ask yourself: outside of this moment in what form do I exist? Don’t your past experiences and selves exist as ghostly memories and your future selves and experiences exist as potential expressions of who you are now, who you have been in the past and who you can and want to be in the future? Isn’t this the same for All That Is?

Is it time for us to wake up, wise up, and rise up to greater awareness and understanding? If we refuse to wake up now, what can we expect in our future? We know that the invisible power of expectation is real and that we get what we concentrate on most. It’s also true that what we give is what we get.

Instead of shaking in our shoes or investing massive amounts of energy into hiding from ourselves what we know to be true, why don’t we embrace our fears, understand what they’re trying to teach us, and evolve beyond them? Let’s do it now!

Seth and our own inner selves remind us that we create our own reality from what we choose to think about ourselves and All That Is, whether we’re consciously aware of it or not. Let’s embrace this power and do what we know we need to do, change ourselves from the inside out!

Pete, This is great. I love Seth. Have a new age shop in Elmira and rent Apt #5 where Seth originally spoke. I would love to talk.
