This is an excellent article written by someone who has now passed. I wish that I had known her while she was still alive.

I want to add some things that Seth said in the Material. He described a multiverse that exists within God -- meaning that existence is pantheistic in nature. (According to Seth -- if I interpret him correctly -- all life exists in a hierarchical structure within God, and together all consciousness forms the one being that we call God, but which Seth referred to as All That Is.) Within the multiverse (a word Seth didn't use, actually), some universes are "camouflage" universes, meaning that the truth about God and the structure of the universe is not known. On the other hand, in non-camouflage universes, the truth about God and the structure of the universe is available to all the inhabitants. Our physical universe is a camouflage universe. Everything that lives in our universe eventually dies, which makes it appear that we are all mortal. Apparently, there are things that the soul can learn from believing that it is mortal instead of immortal.

Elizabeth Campbell was right in her assessment of Seth. He did not bullshit his readers. He was never pompous or pious or pretentious. Besides Edgar Cayce and the books about near-death experiences, the Seth Material is the most believable source of metaphysical information that I have found.
