…and what you can learn from it.
Consciousness or Aware Energy, is the Source and Substance of All That Is. As a being of aware energy, you think, feel, act and react; therefore, you ARE! As you think, feel, act and react, you create. To change what you create, you change what you think and feel, how you act and react.
As a being of aware energy, you are both one with and separate from All That Is. You are both a product of creation and creation itself. Pushed from within by the impulse to be and create and pulled from without by the promise of being and creation, it is up to you to determine the difference between what you like and don’t like, what works for you and what doesn’t, what makes you happy and what doesn’t.
The challenge of being and creation is learning how to use the power of thought and imagination to shape the energy of ideas into a pleasing reality. The prize is a sense of satisfaction, the feeling of a job well done. Like learning how to walk or talk, it is a personal, subjective endeavor that requires creative aggression. It is a balancing act that makes falling part of learning how to stand.
Remember: thoughts are “things” with a reality of their own, and you, an artist. With thoughts in the form of beliefs, attitudes, values and expectations, you paint the landscape of your life. Create a great day!

Suppose the ideas expressed here are real. How do you see them changing the way you think about yourself and the world?

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having (creating) a human experience.” – Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
Instead of money, power and privilege, would values like love, truth and joy work better as our primary measures of success? As we see throughout history, material values like money, power, and privilege promote separation, competition, abundance for the few, and scarcity for the many. Emotional values like love, truth, and joy, on the other hand, support us all in our oneness with and separation from each other. They support us with a fairer sharing of power and resources and value fulfillment becomes a way of life for us. While love, truth, and joy inspire us to find and express what we love most about ourselves and each other, values like money, power, and privilege too often give birth to cynicism, ruthless cruelty, and manipulation for the sake of short-term, personal survival.
In life and business, how often do we ask: is what I’m doing worthy of my highest ideals? Do my actions improve the quality of life or undermine it? Do they improve humanity’s chances of survival or threaten it?
How we define ourselves and the world around us forms our intent, which, in turn, forms our reality. If we don’t take responsibility for choosing our beliefs, we unconsciously absorb them from our surroundings. In other words, we create reality from what we believe, whether by fault or default, intentionally or unintentionally. How can we afford NOT to question our beliefs?
Doing for ourselves what others will not or cannot do for us.
What do we want most for our children, ourselves and the world?
What can we do today for the selves we’ll be tomorrow?
What works best and makes us happiest?
The secrets of the universe lie hidden in the shadows of our experience. Look for them!

My favorite line: “Thoughts are ‘things’ with a reality of their own, and you, an artist.”
I love that one too!
