Coinkadink? After getting up to go to the bathroom at 3:30 AM this morning, I lay in bed awake, thinking about each one of us, every thing, as a living, loving, growing and changing aspect of Consciousness. As unique, individualized aspects of Consciousness, we seem to be evolving into greater awareness and understanding, greater appreciation for who and what we are.

Thinking about individuals, families and nations, I imagine each one of us as a unique part of a larger psychological and biological union, a single cell in the social body held together by common dreams and ideals. This thought reminded me of an aspen forest and other large plant communities that are connected to each other by a vast network of underground roots. Every tree in an aspen forest is unique but invisibly connected to every other tree in its community. They all grow out from a single source and every tree in the network contributes in some important way.

Taking this idea further, I began to see everything as being connected to the same source while, at the same time, retaining the power to be unique. The earth, the moon, the sun, the planets in the solar system and everything beyond, all are connected and important to every member of this larger family. Together, the whole supports the one, and the one, supports the whole.

Suddenly, the guard dog next door, a German Shepard named, Chulo, barked. Spiritually, I went over or through the fence and gave him a big hug in acknowledgment of our oneness and individuality. Valuing him as a unique individual and as part of the larger oneness to which we all belong, I felt great love for him and All That Is. With my arms still around him, I wondered why we humans continue to repeat the same mistakes?

Until we stop using our distorted view of the jungle (beliefs in separation, scarcity and competition, survival of the fittest, man is evil) as the dominant model for psychology and behavior, won't we continue to treat each other as if we're bad and can't be trusted? Won't we remain lost in the world of materialism and continue to measure success with money, power and privilege? Won't we continue trying to control each other by value judgment, control from the outside, in, reinforced by the promise of reward and the threat of punishment? Is this old paradigm collapsing under its own weight and our collective unhappiness with it?

Is the "body", with its lessons in oneness, cooperation, sharing and collaboration becoming the new model for behavior? Is it all coming about because of new spiritual growth in understanding? Isn't it true the more we see the connections between all things, spiritual and biological, the more love and less fear we feel? Is the closer we come to understanding that Consciousness (Aware Energy or Energetic Awareness) is the Source and Substance of All That Is, the closer we come to unconditional love?

When we make love, truth and joy the measure of our success, isn't that what we create in our own lives and the lives of those around us? When we accept full responsibility for ourselves, instead of saying "you" are the change I'm creating, don't we say, "I" am the change I'm creating? Does that feel better?

By changing ourselves for the better, don't we change the world for the better? By loving, trusting and believing in our children, don't we teach them to love, trust and believe in their children? Don't we teach them to love, trust and believe in their greater selves?

Isn't our real "home" that place where we love and feel loved without condition?

It always amazes me how religious this stuff sounds when you really get into it. Cheers, sister! :)

Great post, Rog. Are you familiar with Divinecosmos.com and David Wilcock? He reported this week on the findings of two scientist on how our consciousness is structured from one simple geometric form which is then multiplied holographically into what we call reality. Fascinating. It seems to me that this hypothesis falls in nicely with our belief that we create our own reality. On the other hand, Wilcock goes on to say that all history is cyclical (at least in generalities) no matter what we do. I'd love to hear what you think about this.

Is it important for us to reframe the idea of money and banking? If we don't change what we think about money and banking, won't we continue creating the same old problems?

On April 19, 2011, just for the fun of it, I started working with a new idea for money. I called the new dollar bill, the "Action". You can still have nickel, dime, quarter and half action (dollar) amounts as change for one Action as well as five, ten, fifty, one hundred and more Action denominations. What I like about the word “action” is that it encourages us to do something of value to receive it. Holding an “action” in your hand says you performed an action to receive it and that it has value in purchasing action on your behalf. It has built-in psychological value because it makes sense in terms of what it means and what it does.

The word like “action” has character and is more fun and exciting than the word “dollar”. With a combination of basic and earned income, individuals unable to perform work at highly skilled levels can find ways to perform tasks that have value to both themselves and others. They can do it for little or no money since their basic financial needs are already met. And they can do it out of love and joy, free of guilt and fear. Having a basic income also keeps us from being so desperate, we'll do anything for money. It takes power away from those who would be all-powerful. Ideas are the building blocks of reality. If life is ultimately about anything, it's about living and learning. It's about self-development. It's about creating better selves and a better world, just because we can.

Share your thoughts on ideas like money, power, ownership and living by value fulfillment, as opposed to value judgment. Instead of right and wrong, good and bad, why not ask, what works and makes us happy? Won't that force us to develop our own powers of perception, discernment and imagination? Won't that force us to think for ourselves? Won't that give us greater value to ourselves, society and the world? What works and makes us happy?
